Job Description Backend Engineer (Mid-Level) :

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Mid-Level Backend Engineer who will take end-to-end ownership of an entire product module. The role involves designing and building stateless APIs, integrating AI/ML services (Vertex, Veo, etc.), building distributed queue-driven systems, and contributing to cloud infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop stateless, scalable REST APIs using Node.js and Express.

- Own an entire product/module from architecture to production readiness.

- Integrate AI/ML services (Vertex AI, Veo, third-party APIs) into backend systems.

- Design and manage distributed systems using Redis-based queue systems.

- Implement caching strategies using Redis for performance optimization.

Must-Have Skills :

- 4+ years of backend development experience.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.

- Experience building stateless, scalable APIs.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB (CRUD + Aggregation Pipelines).

- Experience using Redis for caching and queue systems.

- Experience working with AWS and GCP services.

- Understanding of distributed system fundamentals.

- Experience in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.

- Product-based company background preferred.
