Backend Engineer - Java Technologies

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain the backend systems of our applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the backend systems by writing clean,

maintainable, and efficient code.

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality of the codebase.

- Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.

- Deploy the backend systems to Linux servers and configure them for optimal performance and security.

- Implement microservice architecture and design APIs for communication between services.

- Monitor and maintain the backend systems in production, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development, and apply

them to the project when necessary.

- Write and maintain documentation related to the project, such as technical specifications,

user manuals, and release notes.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 2-5 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.

- Strong knowledge of database systems, including MySQL and MongoDB, and ability to write

complex queries and stored procedures.

- Familiarity with Linux systems and experience with deployment and maintenance of backend

systems on Linux servers.

- Experience with AWS services, such as EC2 S3 RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and experience with designing and implementing

APIs for communication between services.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a

team environment.
