Backend Engineer - Java/Python

Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building robust APIs, working with databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of backend systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers

- Integrate third-party APIs and services

- Optimize applications for speed and scalability

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

- Implement data storage solutions and ensure data security

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go

- Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, Express.js, or Flask

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
