WHAT YOU'LL DO :

- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency backend services for real-time systems

- Build and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs

- Design database schemas and optimize SQL and ClickHouse query performance

- Build and operate high-scale data pipelines using Airflow

- Identify bottlenecks across the stack and resolve production and non-production issues

- Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and low-level specs

- Collaborate with product, data, and frontend teams to ship scalable products

- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR :

- 2-6 years of backend development experience in scalable, distributed systems

- Strong coding skills in Java (Spring, JPA) or an equivalent backend stack

- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices

- Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization

- Experience with NoSQL or analytical stores (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse)

- Exposure to workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and managed services

- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
