Backend Developer - Node.js/NestJS

Job Summary :

We are seeking a passionate Node.js & Nest.js; MySQL Developer responsible for developing scalable, high-performance server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Node.js as primary skill along with MySQL knowledge, with a strong focus on building secure, optimized, and reliable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Node.js and supporting frameworks.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs

- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performance-driven applications.

- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

- Ensure proper security, data protection, and error handling across applications.

- Collaborate with the database and DevOps teams for deployment and optimization.

- (Good to have) Handle bulk data processing, images, and videos efficiently.

- 1 - 5 years of experience as Node.js developer

- Graduate in relevant field of IT

Node.js Skills (Primary) :

- Knowledge of Node.js and supporting frameworks (Nest.js)

- Knowledge of Type Script

- Knowledge of Web Sockets

- Knowledge of Cluster, PM2 etc.

- Knowledge of using IMDBs with NodeJS

- Good understanding of the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workaround

- Integration of user facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic

- Implementation of security and data protection

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript

- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude

- Experience in building and maintaining microservices-based architecture

MySQL Skills :

- Strong proficiency in MySQL database management.

- Expertise in database design, ERDs, and schema creation.

- Skilled in writing stored procedures, functions and trigger.

- Experience with data integrity management.
