Backend Developer - Node.js Framework

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems using Node.js

- Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices

- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across environments

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

- Work closely with DevOps teams for deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Node.js development

- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming

- Experience in building RESTful APIs and backend services

- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture

- Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks

- Knowledge of microservices architecture

- Familiarity with database technologies (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

- Experience with version control systems (Git)

- Understanding of API security practices (JWT, OAuth, etc.)

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with TypeScript

- Knowledge of Docker and containerization

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

- Familiarity with GraphQL

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

- Knowledge of performance monitoring and logging tools
