Backend Developer - Java/Golang

Looking for skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java or Golang, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and APIs.

The candidate will work closely with architects, product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to design robust backend solutions, optimize application performance, and deliver reliable enterprise-grade software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, or Golang.

- Develop and manage microservices-based applications and distributed systems.

- Apply system design principles to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.

- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access mechanisms.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support application requirements and performance.

- Implement secure coding practices and ensure application reliability.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, production defects, and technical issues.

- Collaborate with architects, product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional development teams.

- Conduct code reviews and follow established coding standards and development best practices.

- Contribute to continuous improvement in backend architecture, application performance, and engineering processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong programming experience in Java or Golang.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for Java-based backend development.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

- Knowledge of system design, distributed systems, and software architecture principles.

- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative software engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience developing enterprise-grade applications, preferably in banking or financial services.

- Familiarity with cloud-native application development and distributed systems.

- Exposure to AWS cloud services and infrastructure.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.

- Experience with production troubleshooting and application performance monitoring.

Education :

B.E. / B.Tech in any specialization, or B.Sc. in any specialization.
