Job Description :

Were looking for a driven Azure Support Engineer to deliver top-tier technical assistance across Microsoft's full cloud stack from infrastructure and platform services to SaaS offerings while also covering Kubernetes environments like AKS.

Project roles and responsibilities :

- Customer Issue Resolution : Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across Azure IaaS (VMs, storage, networking), PaaS (App Services, Web Apps), and SaaS services.


- Kubernetes Support : Provide support for containerised workloads, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and other Kubernetes platforms.

- Incident & Problem Management : Manage production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, integrate automation (e.g. Terraform, ARM/Bicep), and deliver long-term remediation.

- Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Create and maintain scripts and templates using Terraform, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, ARM, or Bicep for repeatable deployments.

- Monitoring & Alerting : Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track resource health, resolve alerts, and optimise signal-to-noise ratios in incident alerts.

- Customer Engagement & Support Excellence : Collaborate with internal teamsincluding engineering and DevOps while maintaining excellent communication with customers. Deliver best-practice recommendations and help improve customer confidence.

- Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement : Document troubleshooting steps, contribute to knowledge bases, and assist in readiness programs or peer coaching sessions.

- ITIL-Aligned Operational Processes : Follow ITIL methodologies such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management in a structured support environment.

- 24/7 Support Availability : Engage in on-call rotations or flexible shift schedules to meet SLA commitments and handle urgent issues.

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in Azure technical support or cloud operations, with exposure to IaaS, PaaS, and ideally SaaS environments.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (e.g., AKS) and familiarity with container and cluster tools (e.g., Docker).

- Proficiency in scripting and automation : PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Python, or similar.

- Strong troubleshooting expertise across compute, storage, networking, and identity services.

- Experience with Azure governance, security, backup, high-availability, and DR best practices.

- Excellent customer-facing skills and written/verbal communication.

- Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira) and incident management workflows.
