Job Title : Azure Solution Architect

Work Mode : Remote for first 6 months, then Onsite (4 days/week)

Location : Hyderabad

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Solution Architect to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. This role will play a critical part in architecting large-scale SaaS platforms, enabling platform engineering best practices, and ensuring cloud solutions meet enterprise-grade security, compliance, and performance requirementsparticularly within regulated environments such as healthcare.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on Azure expertise, strong architectural leadership, and the ability to collaborate with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to deliver modern cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Architecture & Design :

- Design end-to-end Azure cloud architectures for large-scale, enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.

- Define reference architectures, best practices, and design patterns aligned with business and technical goals.

- Ensure architectures meet requirements for scalability, availability, performance, and cost optimization.

Platform Engineering & Cloud Operations :

- Lead platform engineering initiatives, enabling self-service infrastructure and standardized deployment patterns.

- Design and support cloud platforms using AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, and VM Scale Sets.

- Oversee the design and operation of Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads.

Networking & Connectivity :

- Architect secure and scalable networking solutions using Azure VNets, ExpressRoute, Private Link, Azure Firewalls, and related services.

- Ensure secure hybrid and multi-region connectivity where required.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation :

- Implement and govern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Establish and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices.

- Promote repeatable, reliable, and auditable infrastructure provisioning.

Security, Identity & Compliance :

- Design and enforce cloud security architectures including identity management, access controls, encryption, and network security.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare and enterprise security frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO).

- Collaborate with security teams to implement governance, policy, and compliance controls.

Observability & Reliability :

- Implement observability solutions for logging, monitoring, alerting, and tracing.

- Ensure high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery across cloud platforms.

- Support SRE practices and continuous improvement of system reliability.

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Partner with application, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver cloud solutions.

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.

- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making forums.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering.

- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.

- Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale SaaS platforms.

- Strong understanding of platform engineering concepts and cloud-native architecture.
