Job Summary :

As part of the Microsoft for Startups initiative, we're looking for a highly experienced Azure Solution Architect with over 10 years of IT experience and a specialization in Azure IaaS, Security, and Cloud Architecture. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technologist and a trusted advisor who can lead cloud transformation engagements, design enterprise-grade solutions, and guide clients in their Azure adoption journey. This role is perfect for a thought leader who can translate complex business needs into secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Azure solutions across various enterprise environments.

- Develop detailed solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications for cloud transformation projects.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures.

- Conduct workshops, advisory sessions, and training to accelerate clients' cloud adoption strategies.

- Provide technical leadership during migration projects, ensuring successful deployment and optimization of cloud resources.

- Implement Azure Security best practices, governance frameworks, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure platform resilience.

- Perform cost optimization assessments to help clients maximize their return on investment (ROI) on cloud spending.

- Mentor and coach junior team members, guiding them toward technical excellence and relevant Azure certifications.

- Serve as a trusted advisor, driving the adoption of new Azure features, functionalities, and competitive technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Experience :

- 10+ years of IT industry experience, with at least 5+ years in Azure solution architecture and consulting.

- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency :

- Proven expertise in Azure IaaS solutions and enterprise infrastructure management.

- Strong knowledge of Azure Security principles, governance, and compliance frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes on Azure.

- Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) within Azure.

Certifications :

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Mandatory)

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate (Mandatory)

- MCSE/MCSD (Preferred)

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in managing large-scale databases on Azure.

- Hands-on experience with cloud deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with Azure PaaS services.
