Azure OpenShift Architect - Red Hat

Position : Azure OpenShift Architect.

Location : Chennai/ Hyderabad/Bangalore/ Noida (3 day/week).

Duration : Full Time.

Notice Period : Max 75 days.

Budget : Open to Discuss, no bar for right candidate.

Level of experience : Relevant 10-15+ Years.

Required Skills : Azure and OpenShift.

Shift Timing : 3pm 12 am IST.

Travel : Must be willing to travel regularly to Canada and the US.

OpenShift Platform Management :

- Extensive experience in microservice application deployment in OpenShift.

- Perform upgrades, patching, and maintenance of OpenShift environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to OpenShift and its underlying infrastructure.

- Utilize Kubernetes and OpenShift features for application deployment, scaling, and management.

- Optimize OpenShift performance and resource utilization.

Azure Infrastructure :

- Design and implement Azure infrastructure to support OpenShift deployments, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.

- Manage and optimize Azure networking, security, and monitoring.

- Integrate OpenShift with various Azure services.

Security and Compliance :

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans.

- Implement and manage security policies within the Azure and OpenShift environments.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

- Document processes, procedures, and best practices.

- Participate in on-call rotation.

Containerization and Orchestration :

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.

Automation and Monitoring :

- Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools.

- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for OpenShift and Azure infrastructure.

- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).

- Develop and maintain dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Experience :

- Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.

- Build, automate & maintain a highly available cloud infrastructure platform on Microsoft Azure for customers worldwide.

- Analyse overall requirements and design the appropriate cloud infrastructure platform capabilities & services needed.

- Extensive experience with Azure infrastructure and services.

- Azure DevOps including build and release pipelines.

- Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring concepts.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

- Experience/certifications on Cloud Technologies - Azure.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
