Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Azure Cloud Integration Architecture to join the Enterprise Strategy and Architecture team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions to meet the needs of a highly regulated organisation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design message-based integration solution using Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, APIM, Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.

- Design and develop network solutions around Azure Services within multi-tenant Azure environments.

- Work with Capability CTOs, technical SMEs, and specific projects to analyse and translate business requirements into technical designs.

- Create and develop conceptual and detailed solution architecture design documents.

- Contribute to governance processes, including the Technology Assurance Process.

- Work closely with the Strategy & Architecture team, development teams, other architects and 3rd party suppliers.

- Stakeholder management to ensure the end-to-end solution is designed and developed to meet requirements and best practice standards.

- Explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a way that is relevant, easy to consume and compelling.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Extensive Solution Architecture experience.

- Extensive experience building solutions using Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and Azure Functions.

- Broad understanding of APIM and Azure Data Factory.

- Significant on-the-job experience in Cloud Computing, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

- All-round competence in Application, Integration, Data, Technology and Security architecture.

- Good understanding of SaaS, Cloud hosting and Integration technologies, specifically the Azure technology stack.

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.

- Broad understanding of software development lifecycle with experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Expert knowledge of at least one technology domain (Application Architecture; Automation; Data Science & AI; Data; Integration; Infrastructure / Cloud; Security; or Dev-Sec-Ops) and good knowledge of 2-3 other domains.

- Good knowledge of EA governance including Info Sec approval, conceptual and solution architecture reviews, security assessments, pen tests, code reviews and service acceptance criteria.

- Demonstrated ability to identify implementation issues, determine root cause, and drive solutions that account for business needs.

- Experience working with Agile SDLC methods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Knowledge of cloud security and compliance measures.
