About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Azure services, infrastructure automation, networking, security, and day-to-day cloud operations.

You will work closely with architecture, DevOps, and application teams to build scalable, secure, and reliable environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources such as VMs, VNet, NSG, Load Balancers, App Services, Storage Accounts, AKS, Azure SQL, etc.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

- Design scalable and secure architectures aligned with cloud best practices.

- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure performance and uptime.

- Troubleshoot issues related to compute, network, storage, identity, and security.

- Manage patching, backups, DR setups, and resilience configurations.

- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.

- Configure and maintain Azure networking components (VNets, Peering, VPN, ExpressRoute).

- Implement identity and access management using Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, and security policies.

- Ensure compliance with cloud security standards, encryption, firewalls, and endpoint protection.

- Implement governance via Azure Policy, Blueprints, and tagging strategies.

- Build automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.

- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Support container platforms like AKS, including clusters, node pools, and monitoring.

- Set up monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and third-party tools.

- Ensure visibility and observability across cloud assets for proactive issue resolution.

- Work closely with architects, developers, and security teams to deliver resilient solutions.

- Develop technical documentation, runbooks, diagrams, and operational guidelines.

- Participate in architecture reviews, risk assessments, and cloud roadmap initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 6+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.

- Strong knowledge of Azure core services : Compute, Network, Storage, App Services, Key Vault, Azure SQL, and more.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / Bicep / ARM templates.

- Solid understanding of Azure networking (VNet, Subnetting, VPN, DNS, Firewalls).

- Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory, IAM, RBAC, and security best practices.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure.

- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments.

- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
