Role Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infra Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to lead our cloud infrastructure and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role requires expertise in Infrastructure as Code, cloud migration methodologies, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cloud Migration: Lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration projects, including Lift-and-Shift and Re-Platforming.
- Assessment & Planning: Evaluate existing on-premises infrastructure, perform assessments of workloads for Azure migration using tools like Azure Migrate and ASR, and define comprehensive cloud readiness plans.
- Automation & IaC: Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform to automate deployments and management.
- Collaboration & Compliance: Collaborate with application owners, network engineers, and security teams to architect cloud-based solutions. Ensure strict adherence to security, compliance, and cost management best practices.
Required Skills :
- Microsoft Azure Infrastructure: Expertise in Azure compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Cloud Migration: Extensive experience with cloud migration methodologies, including Lift-and-Shift,
Re-Platforming, and Re-Hosting.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Azure Migration Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
- High Availability & DR: Demonstrated ability to design resilient and disaster recovery-ready solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of implementing cloud security controls, governance frameworks, and cost management best practices.
- Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with various technical teams and stakeholders.
Education : A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience : A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role
