Role Overview :


We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer based in India to support a major enterprise cloud and data modernization initiative. The engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable, and resilient Azure infrastructure to support modern data services, including a Profisee-based Master Data Management (MDM) platform.

This is a remote role requiring strong expertise in Azure services, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-grade networking and security practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement Azure infrastructure components :

- Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints

- Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics

- Integration runtimes for Azure Data Factory and other data services

- Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform

- Set up secure connectivity with on-premise environments (VPN, ExpressRoute)

Support Azure services such as :

- Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics

- Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services

- Enforce security policies and access controls using Azure RBAC, Entra ID, and Azure Policy

- Implement backup, monitoring, and alerting solutions

- Support DevOps pipelines for infrastructure deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

- Troubleshoot performance issues and resolve infrastructure-related incidents

- Document infrastructure designs and operational procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 3+ years focused on Microsoft Azure

- Strong expertise in Azure networking, security, and core services


- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform)

- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell or Bash)

- Experience implementing enterprise-grade security, identity, and monitoring solutions in Azure

- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment

- Must be available to work at least 4 hours overlapping with U.S. Central Time (CT)

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- Experience supporting data and integration platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse)
