Cloud Platform Expertise :

- Manage and optimize Azure cloud resources-compute (VMs, AKS), storage (Blob, Disk), serverless (Functions, App Service)-using native tools like Azure Cost Management, Azure Resource Graph, and Azure Monitoring.

FinOps & Optimization Experience :

- Track, forecast, and analyze cloud expenditure; identify cost-saving opportunities (rightsizing, reserved instances, SPs, spot/preemptibles); enforce tagging, budgets, and showback/chargeback frameworks.

Tooling & Reporting :

- Use and potentially integrate tools such as Azure Cost Management & Billing, Power BI, third-party platforms (Cloudability, Flexera, Apptio); develop dashboards, automation scripts, ETL pipelines, anomaly detection alerts.

Technical Background :

- Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates), scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), CI/CD (Azure DevOps), and statistical/data analysis (SQL, Excel, Python/pandas)

Communication & Documentation :

- Collaborate cross-functionally (engineering, finance, stakeholders); produce and deliver presentations/training.
