Role Overview :
As an Azure Engineer at DamcoSoft, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud infrastructure and solutions for our clients. This role involves working closely with cross-functional development, operations, and project management teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and cost-effective Azure environments. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and security of critical business applications, ensuring client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and manage Azure security best practices, encompassing identity and access management (Azure AD), network security groups, Azure Firewall, and data encryption, to safeguard sensitive client data and ensure compliance.
- Automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or PowerShell DSC, streamlining deployment processes for development and operations teams.
- Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and project management teams to integrate Azure solutions into CI/CD pipelines, facilitating rapid, reliable, and automated software delivery cycles.
- Provide expert guidance and support for migrating on-premises workloads to Azure, assessing existing infrastructure, planning migration strategies, and executing seamless transitions for clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure services, networking, and application deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous service availability for client operations.
- Stay abreast of the latest Azure services, features, and industry best practices, continuously enhancing skills and contributing to the team's collective knowledge base.
Required Skillset :
- Strong practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or PowerShell DSC for automating cloud resource deployment and management.
- In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management (Azure AD), network security, and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to facilitate automated deployments and infrastructure changes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a dynamic cloud environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborating within diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, client-centric environment, managing multiple priorities and evolving project requirements effectively.
