Azure DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure Azure-based cloud infrastructure.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or related tools.

- Automate build, deployment, and configuration management processes.

- Manage and monitor infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).

- Ensure the security, compliance, and governance of DevOps processes and Azure resources.

- Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, including automation, testing, and continuous improvement.

- Manage version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Azure Repos) and branching strategies.

- Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and environment issues in collaboration with development and QA teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-8 years of total IT experience, with at least 4+ years in Azure DevOps.

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Boards, Repos, Artifacts).

- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.

- Solid knowledge of Azure services (App Services, Functions, Storage, AKS, Key Vault, VNet, etc.).

- Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and release management.

- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes (AKS).

- Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Experience in implementing security best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

- Familiarity with Git and branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development).

- Strong troubleshooting skills for build and deployment pipelines.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams.
