Azure DevOps Engineer - Cloud Services

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and automate deployment and monitoring processes on Microsoft Azure.

The role requires collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

- Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and management.

- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure resources, including VMs, App Services, AKS, and storage.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services / Azure Pipelines.

- Integrate automated build, test, and deployment workflows for web, mobile, and backend applications.

- Collaborate with development teams to enforce best practices in code management and release cycles.

- Ensure smooth versioning, rollback, and release documentation.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.

- Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and post-mortem analysis.

- Implement Azure security best practices including role-based access control (RBAC), network security, and compliance policies.

- Ensure infrastructure and deployments comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.

- Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to support continuous integration and deployment.

- Maintain documentation for architecture, deployment procedures, and operational processes.

- Mentor junior team members on DevOps practices and Azure services.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 3 to 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or system administration.

- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including VMs, App Services, AKS, Storage, Azure SQL, and Networking.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services, Azure Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts.

- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep).

- Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Knowledge of CI/CD best practices, automated testing, and version control (Git).

- Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/Azure AKS).

- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance
