Role Overview :

The Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust, containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

The role involves end-to-end automation using Helm charts, YAML, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and modern cloud engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Azure AKS clusters

- Develop and maintain Helm charts for microservices & platform components

- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps

- Write and maintain YAML configurations for Kubernetes resources

- Implement monitoring, logging & alerting with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana

- Manage container lifecycle with Docker and registries (ACR/GitHub Packages)

- Maintain AKS security: RBAC, secrets, network policies

- Collaborate with cloud, development, and automation teams

- Troubleshoot AKS workloads, pipelines, networking & deployment issues

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

- Expertise in Helm charts (templating, packaging, custom charts)

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes: deployments, services, ingress, HPA, RBAC, config maps, secrets

- Proficiency in CI/CD (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps)

- Strong command over YAML scripting

- Solid experience with Docker & image optimization

- Hands-on knowledge of Azure services (ACR, VNet, Key Vault, Monitor)

- Strong debugging & troubleshooting capabilities

Good to Have :

- Terraform / Bicep for IaC

- Istio or NGINX ingress controllers

- Security tools like Trivy, Aqua, Prisma
