Role Overview :

As an Azure Data Factory (ADF) Engineer at Volto Consulting, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying data integration solutions for our clients using Azure Data Factory. You will collaborate closely with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable data pipelines. Your work will directly impact the success of our clients' data-driven initiatives, enabling them to gain valuable insights and improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust and scalable data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory to meet client business requirements.

- Develop and maintain complex data pipelines in ADF, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance for critical business processes.

- Integrate ADF pipelines with various Azure services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Databricks, to create end-to-end data solutions.

- Implement data governance and security best practices within ADF pipelines to ensure data privacy and compliance.

- Monitor and troubleshoot ADF pipelines, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data quality issues to maintain optimal system performance.

- Collaborate with data architects and data scientists to define data models and data flows that support business analytics and reporting needs.

- Automate deployment and configuration of ADF pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline the development and release process.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on ADF best practices and data integration techniques to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory.

- Proven expertise in working with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, and other Azure data services.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and ETL processes.

- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) / Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and authorization.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and clients.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
