Role Overview :

As an Azure Data Engineer with 7 to 9 years of experience, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions that power critical business insights for our clients. You will work closely with data architects, business analysts, and other engineering teams to translate complex data requirements into robust, high-performance data pipelines and analytical platforms. This role directly contributes to enhancing our clients' data-driven decision-making capabilities, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and the strategic utilization of information to achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions leveraging a comprehensive suite of Azure data services for enterprise-level analytics.

- Develop and optimize complex ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics to ensure efficient data flow and processing.

- Build and manage robust data models and analytical solutions within Microsoft Fabric, enabling seamless integration and consumption of data for reporting and advanced analytics.

- Create compelling and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, translating raw data into actionable insights for various business stakeholders.

- Write, test, and deploy high-quality Python scripts for data manipulation, automation of data workflows, and integration with various data sources and APIs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business users, to understand data requirements, define data governance standards, and ensure data integrity and security.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data pipelines and data warehouse solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Contribute to the architectural design and strategic roadmap for data platforms, ensuring alignment with client business goals and industry best practices.

Required Skillset :

- A minimum of 7 to 9 years of progressive experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based data platforms.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.

- Deep proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, demonstrating the ability to build and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical solutions within the platform.

- Advanced skills in Power BI for data visualization, dashboard creation, and report development, including DAX and M query language.

- Exceptional programming skills in Python, with extensive experience in developing data processing scripts, APIs, and automation tools.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT methodologies, and data governance principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a meticulous approach to data quality and integrity.

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborating effectively within a team environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
