Role Summary :

The Azure Data Engineer will design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on building reliable ETL/ELT processes and supporting data-driven business use cases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory

- Build and manage data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)

- Develop ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Python, and PySpark

- Work with Azure Databricks for data transformation and processing

- Support data modeling for reporting and analytics

- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks

- Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines

- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to support reporting needs

- Follow best practices for security, performance, and cost optimization

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3- 5 years of experience in Data Engineering

- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks

- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts

- Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics

- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Azure Data Engineer (DP-203) certification

- Experience with Power BI or other BI tools

- Exposure to cloud data migration projects
