Azure Data Architect - Synapse Analytics

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data solutions on Azure cloud.

- Work extensively on Azure Databricks, Synapse, Azure AI, and Azure SQL DB (IaaS & PaaS).

- Develop and optimize data pipelines using Python and PySpark for batch and real-time processing.

- Ensure proper data storage management using ADLS, LogiCap, and other Azure storage solutions.

- Implement and maintain data security, governance, and compliance standards.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Mentor and guide technical teams in architecture best practices and solution delivery.

- Leverage DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring.

- Provide pre-sales support and client-facing technical leadership where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 12+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years as an Architect in Azure data solutions.

- Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Platform, including Databricks, Synapse, Azure AI, and Azure SQL DB.

- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and ETL/ELT processes.

- Hands-on experience with data storage solutions like ADLS and LogiCap.

- Solid understanding of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices for data solutions deployment.

- Strong customer handling, analytical, and communication skills.

- Experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in hybrid cloud solutions and multi-region deployments.

- Exposure to real-time streaming data and AI/ML integration in Azure ecosystem.

- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate.
