Role Overview :

As an Azure Data Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions for our clients, leveraging the full power of the Azure ecosystem.

Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure data architectures.

You will be instrumental in guiding the development of data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, ensuring data quality and accessibility for critical business insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end data solutions on Azure, encompassing data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics, to meet diverse business requirements.

- Develop and maintain data architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices, ensuring consistency and scalability across all data initiatives.

- Lead the design and development of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other relevant Azure services, to automate data movement and transformation processes.

- Build and optimize data models for data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval for reporting and analytics purposes.

- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to implement data quality checks and validation processes, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

- Evaluate and recommend new Azure data services and technologies, staying abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements.

- Work with stakeholders to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex data solutions on the Azure platform, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Proven expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake concepts, with a strong understanding of different data storage formats and techniques.

- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and PySpark, with experience in data manipulation and analysis using libraries like Pandas.

- Solid understanding of SQL and data querying techniques, with experience in working with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to challenges.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
