About the Role :

We're hiring a hands-on Azure Data Architect to lead data platform solutions across cloud migration, modernization, and greenfield builds. You'll own architecture, design, and technical delivery-working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end Azure data architectures based on business requirements

- Lead data modernization and migration projects with minimal downtime strategies

- Define work breakdowns, effort estimates, deployment and rollback plans

- Translate vague requirements into clear, scalable solutions

- Write and review code (SQL, PySpark, Python) to validate solution feasibility

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide engineers with hands-on leadership.

Must-Have Skills :

- Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage, Azure IAM

- Strong coding : SQL, PySpark, Python

- ETL/ELT development, data modeling, data quality validation

- Problem-solving for real-world scenarios (e.g., legacy system migration, ERP/CRM data ingestion)

- Strong communication and ability to clarify vague or evolving requirements

Good-to-Have :

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, DirectLake, Lakehouse)

- Azure Databricks, Purview, OpenAI, Log Analytics

- Data governance, DevOps/DataOps
