Azure Cloud Engineer - IaaS/PaaS

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable Azure cloud infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS).

- Automate provisioning of infrastructure and applications using Terraform, ARM templates, and YAML pipelines.

- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to support cloud-ready application designs.

- Manage and configure Azure networking components including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, WAFs, PLE.

- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, App Insights, Splunk.

- Maintain cloud governance, policies, and security standards using Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, and other native services.

- Work with various tools such as Jenkins, TFS, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and SonarQube for CI/CD and configuration management.

- Utilize Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Test Plans) for managing project lifecycle.

- Interface with ITSM platforms like Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow for incident and change management.

Required Skills :

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS services including but not limited to : AKS, ACI, Cosmos DB, App Services, App Gateway, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Service Bus, Logic Apps, etc.

Automation & IaC :

- Hands-on with Terraform, ARM Templates, Ansible, and YAML Pipelines.

- CI/CD tools experience : Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, TFS, etc.

Networking & Security :

Scripting & Programming :

Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

Tools & Utilities :

File Transfer :

Version control :

- Git, Artifactory, TFS, VSS.

Schedulers :

Operating Systems :

IDEs :

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303/304, AZ-400) are a plus.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
