About the Role :

Our client, a US-based global software organization, is looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join a fast-growing, high-performance cloud engineering team.

This role is ideal for professionals passionate about High Performance Computing (HPC), cloud scalability, and FinOps-driven cost optimization.

You will work on enterprise-scale Azure environments, leverage advanced Azure HPC services, and play a key role in building secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions used by global customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy, manage, and optimize HPC workloads on Microsoft Azure.

- Design and support HPC environments using Azure CycleCloud and Azure NetApp Files.

- Perform Linux system administration and OS-level configurations.

- Drive FinOps best practices to monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spend.

- Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Automate Azure deployments through Terraform-based CI/CD pipelines.

- Configure and manage Azure networking, compute, and storage for HPC and hybrid cloud.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues in HPC and containerized workloads.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the cloud engineering practice.

Experience & Skills Required :

- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5-7 years on Microsoft Azure.

- Strong hands-on experience running HPC workloads on Azure.

- Solid background in Linux administration and hybrid cloud networking.

- Proven expertise in cloud cost optimization & FinOps.

- Terraform (mandatory) with strong CI/CD & DevOps exposure.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
