We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Application Architect with extensive experience in designing and building enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in NodeJS (primary) and Java (secondary), combined with deep knowledge of Azure Cloud services, modern architectural practices, and application design patterns. This role requires a technology leader who can drive end-to-end architectural solutions, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with best practices in scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications on Azure using NodeJS and Java.

- Define architecture blueprints and ensure alignment with enterprise cloud strategies.

- Design and manage Azure services including Virtual Network, SQL Database, CosmosDB, Monitor, Resource Manager, Active Directory, and Blob Storage.

- Implement serverless solutions using Azure Functions, API Gateway, and event-driven architectures.

- Architect scalable microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Apply infrastructure as code (IaC) principles with Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.

- Integrate security and identity management (IAM) practices into solution designs.

- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

- Ensure adoption of DevOps & Agile methodologies, leveraging Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.

- Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and conduct design/code reviews.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Must-Have Skills :

- 11+ years of software architecture and development experience, with at least 5+ years in a dedicated architect role.

- Strong hands-on expertise in NodeJS (primary) and Java (secondary) for backend application development.

- Deep understanding of Azure cloud services, including Virtual Network, SQL Database, CosmosDB, Azure Functions, Monitor, App Services, API Gateway, IAM, and Blob Storage.

- Experience in serverless architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.

- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates).

- Exposure to front-end technologies (CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5); nice to have VueJS/Angular.

- Familiarity with Agile delivery models, Git, and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have :

- Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation.

- Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud architectures.

- Familiarity with multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) environments in addition to Azure.
