Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Azure Administrator to design, build, manage, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure management, Terraform-based provisioning, and cloud monitoring and alerting configuration.

The role involves ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of cloud environments while automating infrastructure deployment and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Azure Infrastructure Management :

- Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure components including virtual machines, VNets, storage accounts, load balancers, and firewalls.

- Build scalable and resilient cloud environments aligned with organizational architecture standards.

- Manage Azure Active Directory, identity, and access management policies.

- Configure and maintain networking components (VNet Peering, NSG, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, etc.

- Manage resource groups, subscriptions, and tagging policies for cost control and governance.

Automation & IaC (Infrastructure as Code) :

- Develop and manage Terraform scripts for provisioning and managing Azure resources.

- Ensure modular, reusable, and version-controlled Terraform templates.

- Automate infrastructure deployment, updates, and configuration management.

- Integrate Terraform with Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous delivery of infrastructure.

Monitoring & Performance Management :

- Configure and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for resource monitoring.

- Implement alert rules, dashboards, and performance baselines for proactive monitoring.

- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for performance or reliability issues.

- Work with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, or third-party tools) to visualize metrics and alerts.

Security, Backup, and Compliance :

- Implement Azure security controls, encryption, and compliance standards.

- Manage Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and DR setups.

- Ensure RTO/RPO alignment and maintain disaster recovery runbooks.

- Apply role-based access control (RBAC) and key vault management.

Operations & Support :

- Provide day-to-day operational support for Azure resources and services.

- Manage capacity planning, patching, and system health checks.

- Collaborate with DevOps, networking, and security teams for integrated operations.

- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 4 to 8 years of relevant IT experience with at least 3+ years in Azure administration.

- Hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure design, build, and management.

- Extensive experience with Terraform (writing, debugging, and maintaining modules).

- Solid understanding of Azure networking, storage, and compute components.

- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana).

- Strong knowledge of RBAC, policies, and resource governance.

- Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Good understanding of cost optimization and cloud resource tagging strategies.
