Autodesk User Management & Access team is looking for a talented SENIOR FULLSTACK ENGINEER to join a high-impact migration project modernizing our legacy platform. As a Senior Full stack Engineer on this project your primary focus will be migrating our legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and hosting UI pages on AWS, while also driving code refactoring, upgrades, security and resilience improvements, monitoring, and other operational enhancements.

The projects legacy nature means youll be navigating minimal documentation and limited subject matter expertise. Youll need to dive deep into the code, uncover hidden logic, and solve problems through investigation, experimentation, and persistence.

Your contributions will directly improve efficiency, reduce operational overhead, and optimize infrastructure costs, delivering meaningful results for the organization.

Project responsibilities :

- Build and maintain highly available, resilient and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.

- Migrate legacy UI systems to our new microservice architecture

- Upgrade legacy Java applications to Springboot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code.

- Test, document and otherwise quality proof your work to ensure that software meets business and operational needs.

- Maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes.

- Troubleshoot any issues to identify root cause and appropriate resolution.

- Support production deployments, operations and maintenance activities.

- Monitor metrics and identify ways to improve logging, reporting, and alerting.

- Follow agile principles and participate in Scrum ceremonies.

- Collaborate inside and outside the team - engaging with other engineering teams, product managers, support and security teams.
