We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong expertise in automation, CI/CD, and modern testing practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing robust test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Python, Shell scripting, Jenkins pipelines, and test tooling within an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and Shell.

- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools.

- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of tests into the CI/CD process.

- Identify gaps in automation and work on increasing test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and system levels.

- Conduct root-cause analysis for complex issues and ensure fast and effective resolution.

- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.

- Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning sessions.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, test design, and version control.

- Support continuous improvement by exploring new tools, frameworks, and techniques.

Must Have Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation with strong proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and Jenkins.

- Solid experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git (Bitbucket/Gerrit).

- Strong understanding of SDLC, branching strategies, and CI/CD best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and debug complex technical issues.

Good to Have Skills :

- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Testrail for project tracking, repository management, and test case management.

- Strong hands-on skills in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting across distributed systems.

- Good communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to the Data Management domain, which is a strong advantage.

- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, implementation approaches, and testing strategies.
