The role is to work as a Python Data Lead with a team responsible for development and delivery of an enterprise product (web-based portal & product developed using python, python-django, react and postgres). Exposure to agentic framework and backend SQL knowledge is also desirable.

Must have skills & competencies :

Technical :

- Python Expert responsible for development and maintenance of code written in Python and Django.

- Good knowledge of OOPs and design patterns.

- Cloud technologies knowledge AWS stack (S3, Glue catalog, EMR/Serverless, Secret Manager etc)

- Good working knowledge of testing frameworks like unittest, pytest

- Exposure to accelerate design, development & delivery by effective and responsible use of GenAI tools

- Be able to design performant solutions looking at the stories given by the requirements team

- Be able to work and lead a scrum team working towards a common goal ensuring that the scrum related processes are being followed

- Should be able to plan and estimate the stories beforehand based on the complexity of the stories

- Should be able to discuss requirements, review the design, track/report the sprint metrics, identify risks, assess impact on timelines and mentor team

Behavioral :

- Ability to handle dynamic requirements and multitask.

- Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both onshore and offshore manager)
