Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Amazon Redshift data warehouses, including data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Create and manage data pipelines using AWS services (e.g., AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline) to extract, transform, and load data into Redshift.
- Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Monitor Redshift cluster performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance within the Redshift environment.
- Work with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot data-related issues within the Redshift ecosystem.
- Develop and integrate APIs to facilitate data access and management.
Key Skills :
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift features and functionalities.
- Strong command of SQL for data manipulation, querying, and optimization.
- Understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Familiarity with other relevant AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, EC2).
- Experience with programming languages like Python for scripting and automation.
- Ability to analyze data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
