As an AWS Network Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based network infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. Your daily tasks will involve troubleshooting network issues, optimizing network performance, and ensuring the security and compliance of our AWS network environment. You will collaborate closely with software development teams, security engineers, and infrastructure architects to deliver robust and scalable network solutions. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of our applications and services, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement secure and scalable network architectures on AWS, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

- Configure and maintain AWS networking services, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NACLs, VPNs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway, to support application deployments and connectivity needs.

- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities, utilizing network monitoring tools and packet capture analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

- Automate network provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.

- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network segmentation, protecting sensitive data and preventing unauthorized access.

- Monitor network performance and capacity, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to improve network throughput, latency, and availability.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing and efficient incident resolution.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures on AWS, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and VPNs.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot network issues, analyze network traffic, and identify root causes using network monitoring tools and packet capture analysis.

- Expertise in automating network tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network segmentation.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
