AWS Lead Engineer - Terraform/Kubernetes

Skills Required : Terraform ,AWS Services ,CloudWatch, DNS, Application Load Balancer, CICD PIEPLINE, (Infrastructure exp is must), Kubernetes, Github , CICD

Key Responsibilities :

AWS Infrastructure & Services :

- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS.

- Expertise in AWS core services : IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda (Containerized), Security Groups, MemoryDB, NACL, CloudWatch, DNS, NLB, Directory Services, Identity Federation, Tagging, and Certificate Management.

- Configure and manage Application Load Balancers and networking policies.

Kubernetes & Containerization :

- Deploy and manage applications on EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).

- Handle Pods, Deployments, Services, Config Maps, Secrets, IRSA, Daemon Sets using both imperative and declarative approaches.

- Use Helm charts for Kubernetes packaging and deployment via Argo CD.

Monitoring & Observability :

- Implement end-to-end observability using Datadog for metrics, logging, dashboard creation, and alerting.

Automation & Scripting :

- Develop automation scripts and internal tooling using Python and Go.

- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Infrastructure as Code :

- Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform with reusable and modular codebases.

Security & Code Quality :

- Enforce security best practices using tools like Snyk, SonarCloud, and Code Scene for vulnerability scanning and code quality analysis.

- Support DevSecOps practices and ensure secure deployment workflows.

Required Skills & Experience :

AWS Services Expertise :

- IAM, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda (Containerized), Security Groups, Memory DB, NACL, CloudWatch, DNS, NLB, Directory Services, Identity Federation, AWS Tagging & Certificate Management ,Kubernetes (EKS)

- Managing Pods, Deployments, Services, Config Maps, Secrets, IRSA, Daemon Sets using Imperative and Declarative methods.

- Experience with Helm Charts and deployment via Argo CD.

Monitoring & Observability :

- Strong experience with Datadog : metric/log monitoring, dashboard creation, alerting.

Scripting & Development :

- Proficiency in Python and Go for automation and tooling.

DevOps Tools & Practices :

- CI/CD using GitHub Actions

- Git for version control

- Infrastructure provisioning via Terraform

Security & Code Quality :

- Familiarity with Snyk, Sonar Cloud, and Code Scene for code scanning and security best practices.
