AWS Infrastructure Engineer - IAC Terraform

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, automation, security, and performance optimization ensuring a reliable and secure environment for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, etc.

- Build scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems using AWS best practices.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.

- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and cost optimization across AWS environments.

- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployments.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis for incidents.

- Maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and architectural decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Proficiency with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, IAM, RDS, EKS, CloudFormation).

- Experience with Linux/Windows system administration.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Knowledge of networking concepts VPC peering, routing, VPN, and load balancing.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).

- Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with cloud security and identity management best practices.

Preferred certifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional

- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / DevOps Engineer
