AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a high-performing AWS DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our cloud engineering team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between development and operations by automating infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the high availability of our cloud-native applications.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert based in Pune or Mumbai, capable of managing complex AWS environments and driving automation through code.

Role Overview :

- Experience : 3+ Years (minimum 4 years specifically with AWS Services)

- Location : Pune / Mumbai (Full-time)

- Key Focus : Infrastructure automation, CI/CD orchestration, and Container management.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Cloud Infrastructure & Automation (IaC) :

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, fault-tolerant systems on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route53).

- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure repeatable and version-controlled environments.

- Manage and optimize cloud costs while maintaining peak system performance.

2. CI/CD & Release Management :

- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Automate the software release lifecycle to achieve "single-click" deployments and minimize manual intervention.

- Manage version control systems (Git) and implement effective branching and merging strategies.

3. Containerization & Orchestration :

- Develop and manage containerized environments using Docker.

- Maintain and scale microservices architecture using Kubernetes (EKS) or similar orchestration platforms.

4. System Administration & Scripting :

- Perform deep Linux Administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and server hardening.

- Write advanced scripts in Bash, Shell, or Python to automate routine operational tasks and system monitoring.

5. Security & Networking :

- Configure and maintain robust Networking setups, including VPC peering, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.

- Implement security best practices (DevSecOps) to protect infrastructure and data from vulnerabilities.
