The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and containerized environments, and will play a key role in ensuring smooth deployments and reliable system performance.

Key Responsibilities :

CI/CD & Automation :

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.

- Automate application builds, testing, and deployments to ensure faster and more reliable releases.

- Implement DevOps best practices across development and operations teams.

AWS Cloud Infrastructure :

- Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, ELB, Auto Scaling, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

- Design and maintain highly available and fault-tolerant architectures.

- Ensure security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, and network security.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.

- Maintain version-controlled infrastructure and follow reusable, modular IaC practices.

- Manage environment consistency across dev, staging, and production.

Containers & Orchestration :

- Build and manage Docker containers for application deployment.

- Deploy, scale, and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS).

- Optimize container performance, networking, and resource usage.

Monitoring, Performance & Reliability :

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and similar tools.

- Proactively monitor system health and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues with minimal downtime.

Linux & Scripting :

- Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.

- Write and maintain scripts using Bash, Shell, or Python to automate operational tasks.

- Perform system-level debugging and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

- Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- Strong Linux administration skills

- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have :

- Experience with EKS, Helm, or ArgoCD

- Knowledge of security best practices and DevSecOps

- Experience with microservices architectures

- AWS certifications (Associate / Professional)
