Job Description: AWS DevOps Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS), automation tools (Ansible, Chef), CI/CD pipeline implementation, and a strong understanding of DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS Cloud.

- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Ansible and Chef.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Monitor system performance, availability, and scalability; implement proactive solutions for optimization.

- Manage containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles.

- Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement infrastructure as code (IaC).

- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across staging and production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 3-6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).

- Proficiency in configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef.

- Expertise in infrastructure automation (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline).

- Knowledge of containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana.

- Scripting experience with Python, Shell, or Bash.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
