About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Developer with 68 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and cloud application development. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions while collaborating closely with DevOps, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

AWS Development & Architecture :

- Design, develop, and deploy serverless and cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, EC2, RDS, and others.

- Build and optimize microservices architectures using AWS-managed services.

- Implement event-driven and asynchronous workflows using services like SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions, etc.

- Develop scalable APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation :

- Create and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Automate deployment and environment setups using CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

- Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and logging using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray, and other AWS tools.

Security & Compliance :

- Apply AWS security best practices including IAM roles, policies, KMS encryption, VPC security, and network controls.

- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory guidelines.

- Perform vulnerability mitigation and secure configuration reviews.

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency by leveraging AWS features and best practices.

- Troubleshoot issues across application, infrastructure, and integration layers.

- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement permanent fixes.

Collaboration & Documentation:

- Work closely with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, QA, and business stakeholders.

- Document system designs, technical workflows, and implementation patterns.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills :

- 68 years of IT experience with strong hands-on development on AWS.

- Expertise in AWS services: Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, etc.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java.

- Experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation or Terraform).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

- Strong understanding of microservices and serverless architecture.

- Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Routing, Security Groups).

Good-to-Have Skills :

- AWS Developer Associate or AWS Solutions Architect certification.

- Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using ECS/EKS.

- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, etc.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
