Position : AWS Data Engineer

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions on AWS cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building and maintaining scalable data architectures, implementing ETL pipelines, and leveraging AWS serverless services to enable efficient data analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain data architectures using AWS data services.

- Develop, optimize, and manage ETL pipelines using Glue, Lambda, DMS, and Python/PySpark.

- Create and optimize data models for performance and efficiency.

- Write complex SQL queries to support data analysis, reporting, and business insights.

- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

- Manage and optimize data warehouses (Redshift, RDS) for scalability and performance.

- Utilize Athena, CloudFormation, and other AWS serverless resources for automation and data management.

- Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across all platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on AWS cloud services.

- Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark.

- Hands-on expertise with AWS services : Glue, Lambda, Athena, DMS, RDS, Redshift, CloudFormation, and serverless architectures.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in query optimization.

- Proven ability to design scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows.

- Experience in performance tuning of data models and warehouses.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Good to Have :

- Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data security.

- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployment.

- Familiarity with modern BI tools for reporting and visualization.
