About the Opportunity

A technology services company operating in the Cloud Data Engineering and Enterprise Software sector is hiring an AWS Data Engineer to join its Hyderabad-based delivery team.

This hybrid role focuses on designing, building, and operating scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and analytics ecosystems on AWS to support business-critical reporting and analytics for global clients.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on AWS to ingest, transform, and load structured and semi-structured data into analytics stores.

- Implement PySpark-based transformations and optimize performance on AWS Glue, EMR, or Spark clusters to meet SLAs and cost targets.

- Build and manage cloud data warehouses and query layers (e.g., Redshift, Athena), including data modeling, partitioning, and query optimization.

- Author and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to provision secure, repeatable AWS environments.

- Collaborate with data consumers, analytics teams, and DevOps to define requirements, integrate APIs, and deploy CI/CD pipelines for data products.

- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot incidents, and implement observability, alerting, and automated remediation for reliability and data quality.
