AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Description :

- Designing, building, and deploying scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure that meets business requirements. Configuring and maintaining AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and others.

- Managing AWS resources and optimizing costs using techniques such as auto-scaling, reservation purchases, and cost reporting.

- Implementing security best practices, including firewalls, access controls, and network security.

- Developing and implementing disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure business continuity in the event of a disruption.

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as Glue, Athena, and Redshift for data integration, querying, and analytics.

- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and efficient data architectures and cloud-based solutions on AWS.

- Implement, run, improve, and document EKS and related AWS services.

- Advocate for and apply best design practices when it comes to availability, scalability, operational excellence, and efficiency

- Deploy and enhance components of our ecosystem such as Container Services, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and monitoring and alerting tools.

- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AWS, EKS, Kubernetes deployment and operations

- You will collaborate with development teams to build, deploy, and manage applications that meet business needs and leverage AWS best practices.

- Maintain ongoing improvement of processes and best practices to meet security, cost, and agility requirements

- Drive continuous improvement efforts by automating routine tasks and optimizing cloud infrastructure.

- Implement automated solutions for cloud management, monitoring, and deployment processes.

- Leverage AWS Glue for ETL processes and data cataloging, while using Athena for querying data stored in S3.

- Enhance performance and cost-efficiency by optimizing Redshift data warehouse configurations and querying processes.

- Automating deployment and management processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.

- Collaborating with development teams to ensure that applications are designed and deployed in a manner that takes advantage of the benefits of the cloud.

- Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure high availability and performance.
