Job Overview :



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of proven experience in architecting, deploying, and managing applications on the AWS cloud platform. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native solutions using modern AWS services and automation practices.



This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in AWS, automation, DevOps, and cloud security, along with strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.



Key Responsibilities :



- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and more.



- Build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.



- Design and implement event-driven architectures using SNS, SQS, Kinesis, and Step Functions.



- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using Python, Java, or Node.js.



- Write efficient, testable, and reusable code following best practices.



- Utilize AWS SDKs, AWS CLI, and scripting for cloud automation and workflows.



- Manage and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.



- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to deploy containerized applications using Docker, Amazon ECS, and EKS (Kubernetes).



- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, logging, and compliance controls.



- Monitor application performance and health using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.



- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.



- Troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments, ensuring high availability and resilience.



Required Skills & Qualifications :



- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.



- 5-8 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, etc.



- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.



- Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, routing, VPN, security groups, NACLs, and DNS.



- Experience with container orchestration platforms, including Amazon ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes.



- Proficient in scripting using Python, Shell (Bash), or PowerShell.



- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.



- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools : CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.



- Good understanding of DevOps principles, version control (Git), and modern SDLC practices.



- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.



- AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Developer) is highly preferred.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate / Professional



- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional



- AWS Certified Developer Associate
