Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our Cloud Platform Team.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, with hands-on experience in AWS, Snowflake, Informatica Cloud, Dataiku, Azure and Datadog.

The candidate will play a critical role in designing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud Architecture Design : Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Snowflake, Informatica Cloud, Dataiku, and Azure.

- Platform Strategy : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the cloud strategy for the platform, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Infrastructure Optimization : Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability, implementing best practices for high availability and disaster recovery.

- Infrastructure Monitoring : Utilize monitoring tools such as Datadog to ensure system health and performance.

- Data Integration & Analytics : Leverage Snowflake, Informatica Cloud, and Dataiku to design and support data pipelines, analytics platforms, and machine learning workflows.

- Security & Compliance : Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC).

- Automation & DevOps : Drive automation of infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and application developers to integrate cloud solutions with business applications.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

- Innovation : Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities.

- Leverage and collaborate with offshore team members.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM).

- Experience with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing and analytics.

- Exposure to Informatica Cloud from an infrastructure perspective.

- Experience with Dataiku for data science and machine learning workflows.

- Working knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, AKS).

- Infrastructure as Code : Expertise in tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates for automating cloud infrastructure.

- DevOps Practices : Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).

- Security : Understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and encryption.

- Problem-Solving : Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges in cloud environments.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Architect.

- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

- Prior experience working in a data-intensive industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, or technology).
