About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Lead AI / LLM Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and GenAI solutions.

This role will focus on LLM fine-tuning, prompt optimization, model evaluation, and production deployment for real-world enterprise use cases.

You will lead a small team of ML and AI engineers, collaborating closely with product and architecture teams to deliver scalable and intelligent AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end development of AI and GenAI projects - from data preparation to deployment.

- Design, fine-tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for domain-specific use cases.

- Build and manage RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and agentic AI systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into production environments.

- Evaluate model performance, optimize accuracy, and ensure reliability and efficiency.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building the internal AI knowledge base.

- Stay updated on the latest research in GenAI, multimodal learning, and transformer architectures.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 years of overall experience in Machine Learning / AI, with at least 3+ years in LLM / GenAI projects.

- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers (Hugging Face).

- Proven experience in fine-tuning and deploying LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Falcon, Mistral, etc.)

- Strong understanding of NLP, text embeddings, vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma).

- Experience with LangChain / LlamaIndex and prompt engineering.

- Hands-on with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD for ML pipelines, and version control (Git).

Good to Have :

- Experience in multimodal AI (text, image, voice).

- Exposure to open-source LLMs and custom fine-tuning techniques (PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA).

- Understanding of data privacy, AI governance, and responsible AI practices.

- Prior experience in leading small AI/ML teams.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
