Job Title : Senior SAP PS (Project System) Consultant

Location : India / Hybrid

Type : Contract to Hire


Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP PS (Project System) practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP PS modules, have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, and demonstrate exceptional leadership and client engagement skills. This role involves working directly with clients, leading project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP solutions that meet business requirements.


Key Responsibilities :


- Lead end-to-end SAP PS implementations, upgrades, and support engagements.

- Act as the primary SAP PS subject matter expert for clients, providing functional guidance and best practices.

- Conduct and participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations, ensuring clear communication of project status, issues, and solutions.

- Lead, mentor, and guide project team members, including offshore and onsite resources.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, logistics, and project management, to deliver integrated solutions.

- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

- Configure and customize SAP PS modules according to client needs.

- Support business process analysis and solution design related to project system management.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams and internal staff.

- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, methodologies, and quality benchmarks.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Qualifications & Skills :


- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

- A minimum of 8+ years of SAP PS experience, with significant exposure to full project lifecycle implementations.

- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and client relationships.

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to run client meetings effectively, articulate complex concepts clearly, and influence stakeholders.

- Hands-on experience with SAP PS configuration, integration with other modules (such as SAP PC, MM, FI/CO), and reporting tools.

- Solid understanding of project management best practices and processes.


- SAP Certification in PS (preferably) or relevant SAP modules is a plus.

- Experience working in multiple industries is desirable.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
