SAP EAM Consultant with Utilities background with atleast 5 to 6 years of experience.

Consultant should have worked in SAP ISU project with atleast two Utility clients with very good understanding of Device Management.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP IS-U Device Management (DM) :

- Implement, configure, and support SAP IS-U Device Management including :

• Device categories, device groups, and registers
• Device installation, replacement, removal processes
• Meter reading, scheduling, and integration
• Disconnection & reconnection processes

- Manage technical master data and ensure accurate device lifecycle management.

- Work closely with business users to analyze DM process requirements and propose best-fit SAP solutions.

2. SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) :

- Configure and support processes related to Asset Management, Work Management, Maintenance Planning, Order Management, and Notification Processing.

- Integrate asset and device data between EAM and IS-U modules

3. Utilities Domain Expertise :

- Work with utility clients (electricity, water, gas) to understand business processes such as metering, consumption recording, field operations, billing, and customer service.

4. Project Implementation & Support :

- Participate in all project phases - including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and post-go-live support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 - 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP IS-U and SAP EAM.

- Must have worked with at least two Utility clients (Power/Water/Gas).

- Strong functional expertise in Device Management, including device lifecycle processes and technical master data.

- Strong understanding of Utilities-specific workflows like metering, field operations, meter reads, and billing impacts.
