The roles will be part of the Run-the-Bank team, providing Application Management Support, focused on the Avaloq platform and the integration of other systems (e.g. Murex; FinCube) with the Avaloq platform. The role holder will be part of the team which is required to maintain a stable operating platform for the local entity and multiple international branches, which are hosted on the Avaloq platform. The role holder will need to collaborate effectively with the business users, to understand their requirements, and solve the issues / problems they may face within the production environment.
This collaboration will need to extend to the wider RTB team, through knowledge sharing with the wider team and will require interaction with the Change-the-Bank team to understand characteristics of the implementation which have been specifically adapted for the client, and to understand future changes to the platform being introduced across the branches. This latter requirement will include supporting the transition of monitoring and support from CTB to RTB teams as part of the implementation process.
The primary tasks for the role will be :
- Follow the incident management process end-to-end, ensuring fulfilment of agreed SLAs across triage, incident management and resolution
- Conducting impact assessment, identifying solutions and implementing necessary solutions to close incidents
- Working with the CTB and Business teams to transition activities where they fall outside of the agreed scope of RTB activities to facilitate longer term solutions to incidents raised
- Supporting functional testers and end users during the testing cycles to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and ready for deployment to a production environment
- Working with release management teams to co-ordinate the production implementation of solutions addressing production incidents
Preferred skills for the role include :
- Proven track record of working within RTB or CTB teams of Financial Service organisations
- Fully fluent in English, some German would be preferable (though not mandatory)
- ITIL incident and Problem management knowledge and experience
- Demonstrable track record of analysis and solution identification
- Avaloq parameterization of Avaloq Core Platform
- P/SQL
- Knowledge of Oracle DB
